Stephanie + Jeff

In just two weeks, this wonderful couple will be married at Boston Ave Church. It promises to be a great time with loads of beautiful images. We were able to meet up on Saturday to shoot some engagements with them. The goal was to go to a winery, but when we arrived, it was less then I had hoped.

So we got back in the care and created our own winery, in the park! :-) They are a super couple that I can't wait to see again. I'll be shooting Stephanie's bridals later this week, but you can't see those until after 5/5/07....

You can see the entire session @ clients.jessereich.com

See you soon Stephanie!

Jennifer + Matt

Saturday was a super busy day with several engagement sessions and a family session. We started the morning with Jennifer and Matt. Again we focused on down town Tulsa. The nice part about being down town on the weekend, YOUR ALL ALONE!!!

We were all over the place. I did see several other photographers walking around. I didn't know them, but they weren't open to introductions...

Anyway, here are a few from our session. Look at the entire session @ clients.jessereich.com

The wedding is several months away, but I'm looking forward to a fun time with you both!

Client remarks about Take 5 Video....

I recently posted the Hightlight Vignette of Andrea and Kevin from OKC. We'll they shared their comments with us and I just wanted to post them here...

"WOW! Kevin and I just received our wedding video and we are so impressed! We laughed, we cried, and we relived the day in such a fun way. It was so fantastic to see all the little details that we worked so hard to plan and to remember just what was said in those speeches by our best friends.

We chose Take 5 Video because of the innovative way that Jesse and Natalie create a wedding video. We knew that we wanted the modern look and appeal that Take 5 offered--minus the typical, cheesy wedding video effects. We were not disappointed. From beginning to end, Take 5 were extremely professional. They were fun to be around on the wedding day and were great at blending in with the landscape of our day. And even though they weren't in our faces, they didn't miss a thing.

Our personalities shined through in our video and I would highly recommend Take 5 Video to any bride and groom on the search for perfection. They are the best, hands down! Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wonderful interpretation of our perfect day!

Andrea and Kevin Miller"

Thank you both!

Andrea + Kevin = LOVE!!!

Natalie and I recently completed the Wedding Film of Andrea and Kevin Miller. This wonderful couple were married in Oklahoma City and had a very cool wedding. I see lots of weddings, but there was something at the ceremony that just blew me away. Andrea had found a String Quartet that played modern music. I remember them playing the Beatles as well as Cold Play.

From all of the weddings I've photographed, this was a first. Andrea and Kevin hired Take 5 Video, our high-end video production company, craft a unique and individualized wedding film of their day. As part of the service, we create a Hightlight Vignette showcasing the wedding day in a brief but memory packed short.

These are fun to keep on your iPod or Media enabled cell phone so you can show your special day to everyone you meet. To view their vignette, simply click the photo below. Keep your eyes open and you just might see my friend and fellow photographer John Lew.

If you would like to learn more about Take 5 Video or Jesse Reich Photography simply visit, www.JesseReich.com.

We hope you enjoy Andrea and Kevin's vignette.

Engagement: Leah & Mike

Leah and Mike are getting married August 11 in DeRidder, Louisiana. My home town. I was super honored when I was asked to be a part of their wedding day. I put my unique style to work with this beautiful couple and I believe the images are awesome!!

Leah has an amazing look and when paired with Mike, they are a beautiful couple. As always I've picked a few of my favorites, but there are really too many. You can see the entire gallery of all 118 images by clicking HERE

I wanted to create a cool little "Save The Date" card for them and wanted it to be real, nothing to be done in photoshop. This is what I came up with.

Some of you who visit my blog often, may remember a really cool silhouette shot I have on my website. Well we wanted to create a new version that Leah and Mike could have prepared for their wedding. Looking at this shot, I'm thinking we need this to be at least a 30x40 with a beautiful black frame...

Well I hope you all enjoyed...

Fun at weddings...

I always have a great time at weddings. Recently I was with Valerie and Eddie for their wedding at Harwelden mansion. Everyone had a digital camera and was taking pictures. Well one of the bride maids, Victoria, caught this picture of working....

Of course I was taking this picture of her at the same time. It's always fun to get a perspective of what it is like for me to photograph a wedding. I like to get close so I can really get some great images. It's always a fun time.

My style, where did it come from?

Why is my style like it is? Because I get to shoot stuff like this, how can I even think about traditional when my mind it thinking "Different"?

There are the few images I can show you, it's safe to say when you see the entire look, you'll excited to know that Tulsa is moving swiftly in to the world of fashion, and I'm excited to be asked to be a part of it!

Talk to you later!

Julie and Wes... round 2

Well we had round 2, our real engagement session, for Julie and Wes. It was a lot of fun and I would like to say thank you to the Blue Dome Cafe for allowing us to shoot our session there.

I asked Julie and Wes if they wanted to do something different and they said yes... I was so happy, this is truly a unique session and is much more special then the traditional sessions photographed by others.

We had a great time and I'm very excited about the images. For more information, please visit http://www.jessereich.com.

enjoy,

Happy Easter 2007!!!

Happy Easter 2007 everyone. This year we took William to our church (Southern Hills Baptist Church) egg hunt. It was cold out, but a fun time nevertheless. We started at 10:30 and ended promptly at 11:00 with William telling us his hands were "frozen".

This year the church had 20,000 eggs. Yes you are seeing the correct number, that is 4 zeros after the 2. Talk about a bunch of plastic eggs.

There were several of our friends who worked very hard to stuff all of those eggs with candy and bible verses. Thanks to Feather Elder for all of her hard work on the project.

Anyway, this year we thought we'd leave the video camera at home and take the still camera. My little video clip is made from just over 1000 still images. I'm still perfecting my little craft, so cut me a break.

These are super fun to make and unique as you need one of two different cameras to pull this off, either the Canon 1d MK IIn or the a Nikon model. Both of which are not the normal camera. I'm very lucky to be in a profession that justifies these beauties so I like to enjoy them whenever possible.

Just click on the picture to start the video. It is a QuickTime so all of you new Mac users should have no problems viewing it...

enjoy,

jesse
