Blogs, websites, photos....

I just love my blog, I add 2 or 3 posts a week to share my thoughts with friends, family as well as future clients. I really want to add to my blog and make it more my main website because I update it so often.

A few weeks ago I started working on a new blog. It going to be an awesome blog that tied both my Photography and Videography together with up-to-date news for all to enjoy.

Well the work came to a stop yesterday. After a solid week of effort to get the posts migrated over to the new blog and setting the final details, I realized it just wasn't going to work the way I wanted.

I promptly deleted the entire thing yesterday. I was very happy with the decision and I slept very nice last night.

I'm started working on a new option this morning that I believe will do a much better job... If it pans out, I'll let you know.

Check back for more information!!!

Super nice words....

A few weeks ago I was retained for the wedding of Becky+Steven. This couple rocked and had some issues with their pervious photographer. I was recommened by Zach Downing, their DJ, because I'd worked with Zach before and he knew my quality of work.

Well, the wedding was awesome you can see the post HERE. Anyway it appears Becky wrote a nice letter to Zach about me and I thought I would post a link to it. You can view Zach's post by clicking HERE

Kate & Jeromy; Engagements

Wow, talk about a fun afternoon. Last weekend while I was in Louisiana with Misti's wedding I received a call from Kate asking if we could schedule an engagement session this week. I was happy to make some time for them and it was a ton of fun.

You can see their images on my Proof site @ clients.jessereich.com. As always, here is one of my favorite images... too cool.

Alan & Misti-- MARRIED!!!

This past weekend I was in Deridder, Louisiana for the Wedding of Misti Harrington to Mr. Alan Walker. It was a great wedding in my home town, which was cool but very different. For years I went to weddings at First Baptist Church, in fact Natalie and I were married there seven years ago, so to be there not as guest but as a photographer was a new experience.

Everything went well and this was the biggest wedding party I've ever had, 9 Bride Maids and 10 Grooms men along with ushers. The families were big too so we had lots of different images.

As the ceremony started, the rain came down. As the ceremony ended, the rain stopped. How about that, very cool. Nevertheless, I've always wanted to get a couple in the rain with an umbrella and this past weekend it happened. I got the image.

Well you will be able to see all of the images on the proof site clients.jessereich.com within the next couple of weeks, for now how about a little teaser.

I see sky's of blue...

If you've been reading, I posted some images with a beautiful orange-red sunset sky. Well I like blue, so here ya go... Same image with a blue sky. I think it looks better.

How did I do this? That's a secret, but I can tell you it isn't all done in photoshop. For the most part I took the image this way.

The darker side....

The world is full of distressed items. Go to Hollister or American Eagle and you find new clothes that look like they've been dragged behind a car from Kansas City to New Orleans.

I'm not knocking this, I own a wide variety of clothes that look older then I am. It's cool, but I thought why should my images look perfect, why not add some "Vintage" to them... If you remember a few weeks back I shot the engagements for Kathryn and Aaron. This couple will be getting married later this year in December.

This past weekend while I was in Louisiana for Misti's wedding, they happened to be there as guests. Kinda of odd, it felt like I was interviewing for the job of photographer when I had one client watching me photograph another client... It was kinda cool though...

Nevertheless, they came over and we played around in the back yard. There were some great images, you can see them all by visiting my Proof site and looking for them in their proof gallery. Clients.jessereich.com

Here's my "Vintage" take on modern fashion wedding photography...

Just having fun! :-)

Sweet family shoots...

I always like to use my family to try new shots. Tonight we had some great weather and the clouds were AWESOME. Sooo, as I walked outside I pulled Natalie's Brother, SIL, and parents so we could try some new shots. I think they're cool.

Hope you enjoy!

I think these shots were cool and different. The sky was amazing and really liked it as a backdrop.

Hope you enjoy!

Long time... no post...

Wow... Life has been super busy. Since my last post I shot 4 wedding, three families, two models and meet with 6 couples for 2007 weddings. It has been busy. I'll be leaving for Louisiana next week where I have another wedding the weekend of June 17th for Misti and Alan.

I'm very happy to be busy and it's been a huge joy. Nevertheless, I am sorry for not posting anything new. I promise over the next week to get at least 4 weddings online.
