Kathryn and Aaron... ENGAGED!!!

Yesterday, I had the joy of photographing Kathryn and Aaron. This happy couple are engaged to be married on December 16th of this year in Midland, Tx. It should be a fun time as they are a blast to hang out with.

Artistic Dance Portraits...

Dancers are amazingly graceful individuals. Their skill and talent are unmatched compared to many. This week I'm in DeRidder, Louiaiana for a number of reasons. One of these is for "Dance, Dance, Dance!" a production hosted by Melanie Martin's Dance Difference.

We have been providing video services for this event the past four years and just this year decided to also offer our photography services. My goal when working with these dancers were to capture their beauty and the most artistic way possible.

I have rushed some images off to my lab in hopes of having them back by the weekend for the preformance. It should be a blast.

Meet some friends....

Being in the wedding business, I get to work with some awesome people. Well here are three of those awesome people that I talk with almost daily.


Kris owns Abelina's Bridal in Brookside. She is a very talented dress designer with an awesome store. You should stop by if you have some time.


Tara Carman-Goll is one of the most gifted Graphic designers I know. She is always coming up with some cool new designs for invitations. You can see her exclusively at the Paper Chase or Abelina's Bridal.


Ann-Marie is one of Tulsa's best kept secrets. Her floral designs have been seen at all of Tulsa's local venues. She keeps busy but is always open to talking about your event.


All of their makeup was skillfully done by Bianca Willard. I hope to have her picture SOON!

Congratulations Crystal and Jim!!!

Oh yes the wedding is over and I'm happy to say "Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Brill!" It was a beautiful wedding. Talk about a photographers dream come true. Their friends and family were just amazing and the guests appeared to have loads of fun.

The wedding was at the beautiful Mayo Hotel in downtown Tulsa. The happy newlyweds are now on their honeymoon but for those still reading my blog, here are some of their pictures you can enjoy.

Whitney -- Senior Picture time in Tulsa and Owasso

Well May is here and the sun is coming out. Seniors have all graduated and the juniors are now running the show at the High School. This is the time of year when you know that in just one year, you'll be graduated and looking forward to college.

Whoa, just one year till college, time does move fast. This is also the time of year that we start booking up with Senior picture sessions. Now if you've been following my blog, you know that I'm anything but traditional. I like to create images that not only show beauty, but also attitude and personality.

Yesterday I got to work with Whitney. Now in all fairness, Whitney has modeled for me in the past when I was shooting at Abelina's bridal. She tried on some dresses and everyone had a great time.

Well it's only fitting that her Senior pictures have some EDGE to them. We can always create the classic lovely shot next to a tree or a planter, looking up at the camera just right... OR...

We can create some really cool images that will set you apart from everyone you know. Each session is an personalized as you are. Have ideas? GREAT, bring them along.

Congratulations Jana and Alan!!! your ENGAGED!

Jana and Alan are engaged and will be married on June 3rd. We are just know getting their engagement pictures completed. It would have been earlier, but Jana is a teacher and has been extremely busy with school.

What's new?

Well since my last email, I've been extremely busy. I would like to thank all of the brides who have retained me for their wedding. Just to let you all know, I will be emailing you personally with information on your website as well as times to schedule your Engagement and Bridal shoots.

lil' R&R in Dallas

Well this weekend we're taking a little R&R in Dallas with Natalie Brother and Sister-in-law. They have just moved into a new home in Keller, TX. Keller is about the size of Tulsa as is considered a "burb" :-)



Usually we don't see much of Daniel when we visit because both he works a ton. Usually this is all we see of him.



Today, he was able to come home and we went to the park. Their neighborhood has some really nice play areas for children. William has learned the JOY of the slide.




It's funny, as much as William likes to slide, he also likes to just look around. I have such a great time watching him. Just a gift from GOD. For those who don't have children yet, your life will change... you'll wonder how you ever lived without your child.



Needless to say, everyone had a great time at the park. William wore himself out and Uncle D was there to get him.



We have so much fun coming down here and spending time with family. At times it's like a box of chocolates... you never know what your gonna get.... :-)

Congratulations Angie and Brent...

Angie and Brent will be getting married in late September. This past weekend we were able to shoot their engagement images. It was a great time and both Angie and Brent were great to work with.

When we were done for the day they both said how much fun they had. This is important for me to hear as I use engagement sessions to connect with my clients and allow them to see how I work. For me it is very important they are comfortable with me. On the wedding day everything works better when the comfort level is high.
