Happy Easter from me to you!

It's the time of year we celebrate Easter. For my family it's a very religious time where we focus on the gifts Christ has given us. If you happen to be on our physical mailing list, you'll be receiving our Easter card. Because I always do this, here is a peak at what the card will look like this year.

It does feature our son, but with a face like his, why wouldn't we put him on it... (proud father typing here!!)

Anyway, it's not too late for your special Easter cards. We are a simple family and went for a simple design, however I can custom design anything.

Congratulations Cassie & Luke!

Today I was with Cassie and Luke. They won't be getting married until 2007 but, Cassie won a free engagement session from me at the January bridal show. We a fun time around downtown, however the wind was killer. All afternoon we were blown around like dolls, nevertheless, I'm very pleased with the out come.

Luke is a great guy who really loves Cassi and you can't help but feel the passion between these two. As I always do I've posted a few of my favorites for everyone to enjoy.

UPDATES COMPLETE!!!

Yahoo! for the past few weeks I've been working to get all of my sites updated. Yes I said sites... I do have a few. Anyway, all the work was completed this evening. If you'll recall, last week I updated the Take 5 Video site with new online wedding videos and demos from our Tulsa, Oklahoma weddings.

Also this week, I got my new client proofing site up and going @ clients.jessereich.com. This is just AWESOME as it allows my clients full control over their images and albums. Feedback as been outstanding.

Finially this evening I was able to get Jesse Reich Lifestyles and Jesse Reich Weddings updated. The interface looks the same, but there are some changes including a direct link to the proofing area, updated contact form, addition of a "Raves" area for feedback from my clients and some other minor changes. All in all I very pleased with the changes.

If you have a minute stop off and check it out for yourself!

Zoe...

I've posted images of Zoe before, but she came over and picked out her favs... I thought it would be nice to post them for others to see. I can tell you, that she is a joy to photograph. It's just a ton of fun doing this job.

Anyway to help kick off the new KART, I decided I would post Zoe's picks as a featured gallery. Have a look at clients.jessereich.com.

Be sure to look around as I'm in the process of uploading products and galleries. More will be online over the next few days, but I have mountain of work I need to get caught up on. The huge wedding season is about to start for me here in Tulsa. So far the first quarter was a huge success. In addition to working with some great vendors, I've had the joy of meeting some really sweet people.

There will be some amazing weddings in Tulsa this year. From Sushi buffets, to amazing cakes, flower arrangements that will make you green with envy to wedding dresses that are sexier then anything in the past... this wedding season will be one for the record books.

My joy... I'm describing the weddings of my clients so be sure to stay tuned to the blog and you'll get the joy of seeing my favorite images from each of the remarkable events.

keep the peace!

New proofing...

Well although I'm in the process of loading products, determining shipping and setting galleries, I can't keep a secret. My new proofing/shopping kart is online!

YAHOO!!! I'm so pumped about this. Talk about awesome... As a client, you will be able to not only proof your images, but you will also be able to build your very own custom album. In addition, future upgrades will allow you to view the potential crop of the image for different sizes, zoom in on an image to see the details, as well as view the image in B/W or sepia. I'm going to offer the ability to order images with different border and mounting options.

This is one powerful tool for you. As always you will be able to pay with a credit card or cash. This will be a more automated process allowing you more insight into the process.

As I've said before, I'm excited. To see for yourself, visit us: clients.jessereich.com

Look for the Kenley Album....

I just completed two new albums, Channing and Kenley. These albums are part of my "Babies First Year" series. What is Babies First Year? Well this is where the parents arrange to have their childrens 1, 3, 6, and 9 months pictures as well as their first birthday images all taken by me.

With this very special series, the parents receive a 5x5 leather coffee table photo album with each session. The 1st birth day images are uses to make a custome 8x8 coffee table album.

The benefit of this special is allowing the parents 5 different photo albums full of their little one's first year of life.

I'll be posting images of the albums on here so be sure to check back!

A little fashion....

If you've been reading, you know that I've started working more with fashion photography. This weekend I had the luck of working with several models from OMP (One Model Place). We had a great time and for the most part I thought the shoot went very well.

As always, I'm posting some of my favorites. This time I started with 1200 images and knocked it down to 377. Only about 50 will make the final cut for the catalog layout I'm working on, but nevertheless, it's fun and we created some great images.

I hope you enjoy looking at these.

Look into my eyes...

Take a good look in to their eye and you will just get lost. These two ladies have some of the best eyes and expressions I've seen in a while. I just love it when I'm able to capture some outsanding moments like these.

Anyway, have a great day!

A family affair...

This was a great family in my home town of DeRidder, Louisiana. While I was home over Christmas I was able to shoot a family session for them. It was a lot of fun and I tried something new. Like all trials, there are always things you would do differently, however it's nice and unique!

Cool model....

Yesterday I got the chance to work with a model from OMP. Her name is Morgan and we both wanted to create some "different" looking images. It turns out we had some of the same ideas for what we wanted.

It was a perfect match and I had a great time. Morgan was great to work with and I'm really excited about the images. We found some great locations and I'll be posting more from this shoot soon. For now, I've posted three of my favorites. Favorites really isn't the word as they are all my favorite. In total I shot over 600 images, next I went through and removed the "not exactly want I want" shots and was left with 267 "really like a lot" shots.

From here I had to select a few to post in my profile on OMP and for this I looked for images that really focused on the eyes. See I wanted to work with extreme makeup and Morgan was cool with that. For this reason I needed to make sure and select images that focused on the eyes.

For those from around Tulsa you may see a familiar location, however we found two locations that totally rock and I don't think anyone else in Tulsa knows about them. Always fun! :-)

enjoy!
