Louisiana Engagement Session...

This was a great time. When we finished Misti and Alan booked me to shoot their wedding in June. I know it will be a wonderful time.

Anyway, Misti and Alan wanted something different. I walked around the town I grew up in to see what I could find to give the look I liked which I hoped was different enough for them. From what they said, I found it. This was fun because I didn't know what all existed in my home town.

I'm now super pumped to shoot here. The only bad thing is I like to mix things up all the time and this means I try not to shoot in the same location more then a few times. In my small home town that would be very hard to do.

Regardless, here are four of my favorites!

Louisiana Family session...

Well, I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I just completed a family session and I must say I was a bit out of my element. After shooting in Tulsa, I've developed my little routine. Here in Louisiana, I don't have the same locations. This was great because it forced me to break out and find some new locations. The good thing is that I can use the same proven forumla for my style.

Here are a few to share....

Engagements....

A good friend of mine from church called me and told me the great news that he was engaged to his long time girl friend. At first I just couldn't believe it. I had only heard of the mysterious girl and never actually meet her. His parents assured me that she was a real, breathing human...

Well I got to meet her earlier this week when I was honored to do an engagement session for the couple. It was a fun time that created some awesome images that will make it in my new albums and galleries.

I wanted to post a few of the ones I liked here for everyone. I hope you enjoy them too.

Congratulations you two. I'm very happy for you both.

It's been awhile...

Natalie and I have just been burried. With Christmas cards, Weddings, Portrait sessions and life, we don't know if we're coming or going. We have our Sunday School Christmas party coming up next Sunday.

We are both working on a wedding for our Video clients, we have packed weekend starting 12/16 with two all day weddings and we are needing to get ready for our own family Christmas.

I'll work to keep some new stuff up here, but I don't know when I'll have time this season. I have this great idea for a wedding I'm editing. The music the bride gave me ROCKED. I'll use this on our 2006 demo. When I get it done I'll post it.

Until then....

Random thoughts...

This is just a day of random thoughts... I have a shoot tomorrow for some families to get some rush Christmas cards. It will be rushed... This morning my wife helped me and we put lights around the roof of our home. We did the white-red-white-red this year in the larger Charlie Brown style of lights. She decorated our shrubs with green lights and we put our two reindeer in the flower beds.

We'll spend the night decorating the inside of the house so it can feel just like the North Pole for all who come and visit.

On a Santa note, we were at Sam's today just looking around and I found a great deal on a very nice 26" LCD HDTV. It had originally been something like $800 but was marked down to $454. I looked it over well and the box had not been opened. I asked the guy working in the department what was wrong with it and he explained how a new 27" model had just come out and the 26" was "older". Well I took it. I also bought the 3 year replacement plan for it. Because the TV was on sale I was able to buy the cheaper plan so I saved extra money.

This is one nice looking TV. It will be going in our studio to do slide shows and show off our video. I also plan to watch a few movies upstairs now that my "studio" has nicer equipment then my living room. :-)

anyway... This has been a good day. If you want to stop by and watch a little HDTV feel free.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday's!

Channing Announcement

Recently I completed a baby session for Channing Hill, daughter of Brian and Lacie Hill. Channing was a great little model. She was a pleasure to work with and gave us almost an hour of shooting before she fell asleep in her daddy's arms. A sweet moment.

Well I have completed the first draft of an Announcement/Christmas card for Brien and Lacie and I thought I would post it here to share with others.

Post your comments!

Wedding Album...

Most of our albums are over 20 pages. Here I'm attaching a few pages from a recent wedding I completed. Below I posted some images from the Fair-Williams, wedding.... Well these are a few pages from their album.

If you have any questions about our albums or the different options we offer, give me a call. I'd be happy to tell you about our offerings.

Speaking of Albums...

Speaking of Albums, I thought I would post a few more album layouts. The layout attached here is an engagment layout. This couple was fun to work with and I was really excited when they agreed to jump into the fountain. Every now and then you get a couple who are willing to be different and have fun. They were such a couple. Anyway, I hope you enjoy...
