Hello PPA and Imaging USA 2007!!!

Hello from cold San Antonio, Texas.... It's not as cold as Tulsa, but they are cooling off here and I'm not a fan of cold weather. Anyway, I'm having a great time here. Why am I at Imaging USA? Because I want to be able to offer my clients the best possible options and here I can learn from over 6000+ photographers about new and exciting albums, lighting techniques and general creative conversation.
Tomorrow is the official opening of the conference, but today I went to some sessions about location shoots with limited lighting. I found it very informative. If you want to model for me, so I can practice what I've learned, give me a call or email me. I'll hook you up with a couple of 8x10's for your time.
Anyway, Friday night, I grabbed a camera and went walking around to get some night shots. I thought I would post a few for everyone to enjoy.

This is my friend Mike White from Lake Charles, Louisiana. He and his wife Judy allowed me ride over with them and stay in their room. They are super nice and really caring people. It's fun to learn with them.

I thought it was cool how they put LED lights under the overpasses. I really liked the fact they change colors on a regular basis and the added ambient light would make some cool location shots. Anyone want to fly down here for me to have a model? :-)

Well that was just the first night. I'll have to see if there is anything else I can find to take a shoot. The Alamo is really cool at night. Until now I've never really looked at the detail of the building considering I've been here a number of times...
I hope you enjoy!

Somehow pictures 3, 10, and 18 would be cool to use for our canvases that we want to print. Also we have those verses that we bought to frame that would look cool with those pictures. LOVE YOU! Hope you are having fun!
We would be more than happy to model for you....the shots you posted are amazing!!! You truly have an art.
