WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

Ok, lets see it has been 3 months since my last post. What has happened in that time? A Bunch! October was a wonderful time for my weddings. The end of October came with a HUGE project, a 2008 Calendar for Whitlock Plastic Surgery (www.whitlockmd.com). Did I mention it was a calender that MUST be completed and ready to go January 2008?

The first week of November our family with to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida!!! Yahoo!!! it was a blast. William and I took a morning and road the Tea Cups, Drove the Race Cars, enjoyed Goofy's Roller Coster, Road the Steam Train around the park and capped it all off with a wonderful ride in the front of the Monorail. What a great morning! We completed the day at MGM riding the "Rockin' roller Coster" If you like extreme rides, you need to check out the Rocking Roller Coster, it truly rocks. I personally road it between 8 - 10 times. I lost count, but it was a lot.

So we get back from our relaxing week at Disney and I go straight to work shooting the Calendar for Whitlock. I started with 14 models, but we completed with 13 after one just couldn't get it together.

Well the Calendar is being completed and is at the printers. We will make our goal of early January. I believe the calendars will sell for $15 and can be purchased a number of places including the studio. I'll post some samples when I get some extra time.

November ended with a wonderful Thanksgiving with family. We moved away from Turkey... December brought us the very first wedding at the Tulsa Historical Society. How cool, it is all completed and looks just beautiful on the inside. I have several more weddings there in 2008 that will just rock.

We have our last wedding of the year on December 28th. This couple promises to be a great time with some awesome images.

I have a number of new toys that I'll be talking about in the coming few posts as I get caught up with all of my work. All Christmas cards are done, all guest books have been ordered, all final prints are ordered and all albums have been designed. We are on a great track for 2008.

For those with Albums, I've got the changes completed, but now I'm doing a little QC before I put the edits online. Look for information soon.

Ok, well that's enough for now... BTW, if you are on facebook, look for me. Just search for my name!

Ashley + Brandon

This past weekend, I was able to hook up with an awesome couple that I feel like I've know for years. Ashley and Brandon meet with me and asked me to be a part of their wedding over a year ago. During that time, Ashley has been a faithful follower of the blog. She has frequently chimed in answers to my trivia questions.

All told, I owe her several 8x10's for her winnings. Nevertheless, we shot her engagement session this past weekend. It was so fun to reconnect with some friends and spend the afternoon talking about the big day while shooting.

Here are a few of my favorites for everyone to enjoy. You can view them all @ http://clients.jessereich.com

This couple is HOT!!

One of my most favorite images of all time. This moment was happening in front of me and I didn't know if I got my camera to my face fast enough. Thank goodness I did. Talk about a tinder moment between these two..

William turns three!!!!

A couple of weeks ago we had a birthday party for William. He turned three and got his "Big boy bed". This was a huge step for the family, but a good adjustment.

The other day, after Sara and Shane's engagement session, William and I stopped by to pick up gear. William asked if I would take some pictures of him. Well, what father would say no?

He just posed every way he could. We had a great time, once it was over, he picked a few that he wanted to give to "mom".

Everyone has just loved them so I thought I would post a few for those who can't see the prints.

So, where ya been?

I get asked that question a lot these days from my friends. Everyone wants to know where I've been and what's going on. To be honest, I've been working. Just about every weekend, from Dallas to Kansas City and everywhere in between.

When we aren't traveling for weekend weddings, I'm working hard in the studio.

I've photographed two bands, two Ministers, a few children, and some weddings. In addition I have some awesome new bridal images to share, as well as a few new engagement sessions.

All in all it has been very busy and it doesn't look to slow down. One of my clients has decided to produce a calendar for their business. I've been asked to shoot the project as well as help with the design work.

We have received a wonderful response from the August wedding show with most of the spring being fully booked. 2008 promises to be exciting for us and our clients.

I know there is more to share, but I can't think of it all now...

Anyway, Keep the peace!

Sara + Shane

Ok, so I know it has been months since I last posted. I promise to update everyone very soon on all that has been happening with me and my clients.

This is Sara and Shane. This couple is getting married later this year, in December. Sara was in town for a short weekend and I had them over to the Studio for an engagement session.

Sara is currently in photography school... how about that for pressure? Anyway, we had a blast. These two had more "model" looks then most of the professional models I work with. Talk about a great couple for the next American Eagle ad....

Here is a favorite...

Quick Update.....

I have a lot to say, but only a few minutes to get it out... soooooo.... I'm only going to share one item, I have a new "Main" webpage... www.JesseReich.com has been updated with a new look, layout, and function.

Give it a try and let me know what you like and don't like about it.

The other quick note is... WE'RE MOVING!!! Chase, before you call me, let me just say I'm not physically leaving Tulsa, in fact, I'm not moving from my house, but our studio is moving to a new, larger location to help me achieve my goals.

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it... :-) (name the movie for a free 8x10, first email gets it!) Anyway, I've been working every night on with sheet rock, while building a few walls. There have been a few who have experienced the new studio, but we will have an open house real soon to share it with everyone.

Ok, so I'm off to bed as I'm in Louisiana for a wedding this weekend. It's southern thing and will be a HUGE event for the small town.

All my best,

Photobooth Hits 50!!!

We are rapidly approaching one year of Tulsa Photobooth (www.Tulsaphotobooth.com) and I'm super excited to say we have surpassed our expectations. Currently we are renting an average of three units a weekend. To think when I initially shared the idea with a few in Tulsa they said it would never work here. Well, I can tell you that after our first 65 events, everyone LOVES the Tulsa Photobooth. We've meet national celebrities, and congressmen, as well as, thousands of AWESOME people. In our first 65 events, we've traveled from Houston, Texas to Kansas City, MO. The photobooths have taken over 39000 images of party goers.

The most common comment from our clients as well as their guests, "What a great idea." Thanks to everyone who has helped us make this a great year and I'd like to give a very special thanks to several people. Our clients, Angie and Brent who originally requested a photobooth at their wedding and Vicki Taylor for sharing in my excitement.

For those who don't know, we participate in the Tulsa Wedding Show which is the oldest wedding show in Tulsa. Vicki is the relentless driving factor behind the continued success of this show. It is Tulsa LARGEST show with the most diverse group of local vendors. *PLUG* The next bridal show will be August 26, 2007, we'll be there and I hope you'll stop by and visit us at the show *END PLUG*

Anyway, thanks to everyone who has enjoyed the photobooth. We look forward to another great year of meeting awesome people. To learn more about the Tulsa Photobooth or to see if there is one available for your event, visit us on the web @ www.TulsaPhotobooth.com

Blog Comments...

"Chase said...

Um. And by moving, you mean moving just down the street and NOT far away from us, right?

Because, uhm, don't make me come after you and kidnap you and force you stay here until after June 1, 2008.
Though, your light saber can move away if it wants to. ;-)"

Well Chase, let's say that the possible move will be better for everyone. Don't you just hate it when someone only gives you half of the information in the story... I know I do, however at this point I can't share everything. All in time young Skywalker...

FUN TIMES... Jesse Reich Lifestyles is BACK!!!

Well almost... Over the past few weeks we have been hard at work with the launch of a new website, Jesse Reich Lifestyles. The site is not active as of yet, but should be by the weekend.

What does this mean? Well, nothing really other then I'm splitting my website into weddings and everything else thanks to two distinct websites.

Anyway, if you keep up with what's happening, let me give you a little insight.... Look for some HUGE changes with us. Let me start a few rumors... I'm going to shoot for Elle... NOT... I'm moving... Maybe... I've stated a party rental company... NOT... I'll be on Oprah... ???...

Keep checking back for my new updates. It's super exciting and I can't wait to share all the details with everyone.

What about my current clients? These new changes will only allow me to serve you better. Better service and better images mean you get more for your money.

Keep checking back for the updates. I'll post more in the coming weeks.
